On November 13th, Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta teamed up with Assisted Choice to sponsor the first Assisted Living Networking Event at Maggiano’s Perimeter. More than 80 executive and community relations directors from assisted living communities and personal care homes in metro Atlanta and surrounding counties were in attendance.
The event served as a great way for the leaders of these communities to network with one another and to discuss the ever-changing assisted living and personal care market in Georgia. At the end of the night, door prizes were raffled off to several lucky attendees.
Matt Hopp, David Whitlock and Barri Busker represented Guardian at the event and met with facility administrators to demonstrate Guardian’s custom pharmacy solutions. In addition to the various technology and packaging options, the team discussed Guardian’s on-site consulting programs, which help facilities not only pass annual inspections but also fulfill updated requirements to gain assisted living licensure. Attendees were particularly interested in Guardian’s continuing education program that has helped certify hundreds of CMA’s and Proxy Caregivers throughout the state.
