From October 15 until December 7, you can enroll in a Medicare Part D plan or change your current plan to help with your medication costs.
Medicare Part D is Medicare’s version of prescription drug coverage plan insurance. You must have Medicare Part A and/or B in order to be eligible to enroll in Part D. Each Medicare Part D plan, which is run by individual insurance companies, has its own list of covered prescription medications, called a formulary. There are many different plans to choose from with different costs involved. If you do not currently have Medicare Part D prescription coverage, or you have not been happy with your current coverage, please use Medicare’s website to enter your prescription medications and get a list of the best companies for your individual coverage and medications. You can even see the estimated monthly costs and yearly costs to you.
As a pharmacy provider, Guardian Pharmacy of Atlanta cannot tell you which plan is best, however we can answer any questions and help guide you in the search process.
If you have any questions regarding Medicare Part D, please contact Lori Newcomb of Guardian Pharmacy Atlanta at 404-309-4958.
